Welcome to the Site!

Hi there! After years of gigging here in the great cty of Atlanta, I figure it's about time I post a page about my life as a world percussionist! Thanks to Kenny Werner and Steve Shehan, 2010 has greeted me with a new passion for playing live, creating a new fusion of rhythms, and collaborating with other musicians. I hope to see you soon at a local gig!

Dave's New Kids' CD!

Yea! Thanks to the love, hard work and vision of fellow musician Jonathan Payne, Drummin' Songs and Jam Alongs is now available! I had been flirting with the idea of doing a kids' project for a while and had been collecting ideas on napkins and other scraps of paper. It was Jonathan's encouragement (and occasional swift kick) that moved the project toward reality! The CD features 12 original songs (okay, 1 adaptation), performed entirely on percussion instruments. I'm singing all the tunes with some incredible back-up help!
